It is my great pleasure to announce that the Polish American Historical Association has been granted a stipend of $500 by the Polish American Journal Foundation, as the annual cash prize that its members select from a group of academic and cultural non-profit organizations. Mr. Mark Kohan, editor in chief of the Polish American Journal, notified Dr. Anna Muller, the outgoing president of PAHA, of the award on January 5, 2021.
PAHA is honored to receive and acknowledge this generous gift, and to express warm gratitude to PAJF and its members. We take it as an expression of appreciation of the importance of the mission of PAHA to advance scholarship on the Polish diaspora in America and elsewhere in the world, and of encouragement to continue in carrying out that work.
