The editors of Polish American Studies follow the guidelines for ethical behavior and research misconduct established by the Committee on Publications Ethics, explained here https://publicationethics.org/ In the case of any form of research misconduct, such as plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification or fabrication, among others, the editorial board will not publish the paper and will inform the author’s institution of the issues arising from the submission.

Regarding the Generative AI Policy, the editors of Polish American Studies observe the guidelines of the University of Illinois Press, which, following the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE), requires that all authors submitting to the journal are responsible for disclosing any AI generated text used or cited in the submission.
